Overview & Policy Scope
At Onion Tech, we value your privacy and give you full sovereignty over your personal data. This document outlines the official Account and Data Deletion Policy for Expiry Bin (“the App”).
Whether you use Expiry Bin in Guest Mode or with an authenticated account with cloud backup enabled, you have the absolute right to permanently delete your account and remove all personal information and inventory records.
Method 1: Direct In-App Deletion (Instant & Recommended)
The fastest and most direct way to delete your account and erase all associated data is directly through the Expiry Bin mobile app:
Navigate to the Profile Tab
Open Expiry Bin and tap on the Profile icon on the bottom navigation bar (located on the far right).
Scroll to 'SYSTEM & DATA'
On the Profile screen, scroll past your account cards to the SYSTEM & DATA group.
Tap 'Delete Account'
Locate the option labeled Delete Account with the subtitle “Permanently erase account & cloud data” (marked with a red trash icon).
Confirm Deletion
A confirmation dialog titled “Delete Account?” will appear with the warning “Local database will be completely erased”. Tap the red Delete button to finalize.
Method 2: Web / Email Deletion Request
If you have uninstalled the Expiry Bin app, lost access to your mobile device, or prefer to request deletion via the web, you can submit an official request below:

Data Types Deleted Upon Request
When your account deletion is processed, the following data categories are permanently and irreversibly removed:

Data Retention Exceptions (If Any)
We do not retain any inventory or tracking data once an account is deleted. However, under Google Play Developer policies and legal obligations, the following minimal records are treated as exceptions:
- Financial & In-App Purchase Records: Non-identifiable transaction receipts, order IDs, and purchase timestamps processed via Google Play Billing or RevenueCat are retained solely for tax, statutory accounting, and fraud-prevention audits as required by mandatory consumer and tax laws.
- Legal Dispute Documentation: Communication regarding pending legal claims or formal compliance requests may be retained until the matter is resolved.
No personal profile, inventory lists, product names, or photos are ever retained under these exceptions.
Processing Timelines & Reversibility
Immediate (0 Seconds)
When you confirm deletion in the app, your local database is instantly wiped from device storage and logged-in credentials are invalidated.
Within 48–72 Hours
Manual requests sent to our support desk are verified and executed within 72 hours, with full disaster backup purge completing in 30 days.
Once an account is deleted, your data cannot be restored. If you wish to use Expiry Bin in the future, you will need to start fresh with a new account or in Guest Mode.
